Eco Comfort HVAC Inc. (“Eco Comfort”, “we”, “us”) provides heating, cooling and ventilation services in Richmond Hill and York Region. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain, and we only collect what we actually need to help you.
What we collect
When you fill out our contact or quote form, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, city, and the details of your message. Like most websites, our host also records standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type in its server logs, which helps keep the site secure and running.
How we use it
We use the information from the form for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and provide the service you asked about — to call or email you back, prepare a quote, and schedule work. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
We don’t sell or share your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business — for example, our website host and email provider — and only to the extent needed to deliver our service to you. We may also disclose information if we are required to by law.
Analytics and cookies
This website does not currently use Google Analytics or any third-party advertising or tracking cookies. It uses only the essential cookies needed for the site to work. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy to say so.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only as long as we need it to respond to you and, where relevant, to keep a record of work we have done. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and how to request deletion
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email info@ecocomforthvac.ca and we will take care of it.
