Newmarket is north of our Richmond Hill office, usually about 20–25 minutes away by Yonge Street or Highway 404. It is within Eco Comfort HVAC’s regular service area, and same-day scheduling is often possible when availability allows. Newmarket has several very different generations of housing, so the HVAC needs of a home near Main Street can be quite different from a newer property in Woodland Hill. We service furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers and hydronic heating systems throughout the town.

Furnace Repair and Replacement in Newmarket

Neighbourhoods such as Stonehaven-Wyndham, Summerhill Estates, Glenway Estates, Bristol-London, Armitage and Huron Heights contain many detached homes with conventional forced-air heating. First-generation central systems in these homes are now reaching replacement age, while others may already be operating on an older second system. At that point, the question is not automatically “repair or replace.” It depends on what has failed, the condition of the rest of the furnace and how much money is being put into keeping an aging system running.

Our furnace diagnostic is $99, credited toward the repair if you proceed. If replacement makes more sense, furnace installations start from $4,200 installed. Our starting price combines the equipment and installation. We do not advertise an equipment-only price and present it as though it represents the finished job.

Central Air Conditioning for Newmarket Homes

A system that has been running since the original build — or an older replacement that has already seen many cooling seasons — may start showing problems through weak cooling, electrical failures, refrigerant loss, compressor issues or repeated service calls. For Newmarket homeowners considering replacement, central AC installation starts from $4,900 installed.

Before selecting new equipment, we look at the home and existing system rather than automatically matching whatever capacity is written on the old condenser. Applicable refrigerant work on air conditioners and heat pumps is completed by a 313D-certified technician on our team.

Older Homes Around Central Newmarket

Older heritage and detached homes may have heating layouts that were changed over decades, additions that were incorporated into the original system, or boilers rather than conventional forced-air furnaces. These homes sometimes need more investigation before equipment is selected. Replacing what is already there without looking at how the house has changed over time can simply carry an old problem into a new system. Eco Comfort works on applicable gas heating and boiler systems as well as standard forced-air equipment.

Boilers and Hydronic Heating

Boiler and hydronic work is also relevant in some older Newmarket properties and larger custom homes — boiler service and replacement, radiant heating, hydronic heating systems, and gas-fired equipment associated with those systems. Where the project extends into flooring, renovation or concrete work, Eco Comfort can coordinate with our sister company, GMC Construction — an established GTA renovation contractor with 85+ five-star Google reviews for its renovation work. Those are GMC’s renovation reviews; Eco Comfort HVAC is the newer HVAC company in the same ownership group. That combination is particularly useful for work such as radiant floors or hydronic heated driveways, where the HVAC and construction scopes need to happen in the correct sequence.

Newer Homes in Woodland Hill

Woodland Hill and other newer parts of Newmarket include more housing built from the 2000s onward. Being newer does not automatically mean the HVAC system is trouble-free. The original equipment in earlier 2000s homes can still be old enough that homeowners are beginning to face major repairs or replacement decisions. The right approach depends on the condition of the current system, the house and the actual installation requirements — not simply the age printed on the data plate.

Eco Comfort HVAC Inc. is registered with TSSA as a Heating Fuels Contractor business under FS-R-53729. The owner holds G2 and G3 gas certifications and Gas Tight certification for applicable gas work. Refrigerant work requiring that qualification is performed by a 313D-certified technician on the team. Eco Comfort is fully insured and WSIB covered.

Our primary installation lines are Arcoaire and Goodman, purchased through our HVAC supplier. Carrier, Lennox, Trane and other brands can be sourced on request where available. We service all major brands. Eco Comfort is a new HVAC company, so we do not claim completed Newmarket projects that have not happened. Our local positioning is based instead on proximity, real credentials, published installed pricing and the established renovation capability available through GMC Construction.
